Meet the Teacher Link Ups!

I’m linking up with my girls at BLOG HOPPIN’

{and also Stephanie over at FALLING INTO FIRST}

for some epic “Meet the Teacher” linky parties!

So... HELLO THERE!  I'm Holly, the blogger behind "Mrs. Ehle's Kindergarten Connections!"  I'm a momma to three incredible kiddos, Hunter & Alexa (13 year old twins) and Colton (9).   I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Troy, for 20 years!  {Love that man!)   I teach kindergarten at a small, private Christian school where my own children attend.  I'm definitely a "little person" teacher!  I've spent the majority of my career teaching kindergarten, but have also served as a Reading Recovery Teacher and an Early Literacy Coach/Teacher Trainer.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  my job...I just wish I had 48 hours in every day!

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

Jesus. My incredible family. Family Traditions. Teaching.  Blogging.  Shopping. Reading professional development books. {Crazy. I know!}  Living in "Ehle-ville"  (We live out in the country surrounded for miles by aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmas and grandpas!  We all built houses on grandpa's old farm land!)

 IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?
I think I would be a pediatrician.  I love working with little people!

THREE LITTLE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU.
Blessed. Creative. Hardworking.

FINISH THE SENTENCE, "________,  SAID NO TEACHER EVER!!"

"It's so nice to only work 7 - 4, Monday through Friday."

Q: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING?

Gosh.  I'm so "regular"... I seriously would just invite my family and friends. I have the best friends {bloggin' buddies included!} and family in the world!

Q: IF SOMEONE WROTE A BOOK ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE?

 Jack of All Trades...Master of None!  LOL

 Q:YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER. WHAT IS IT?
 The ability to clone myself!  I could work on school stuff 24/7, serve my church, and be Super-Momma all at the same time!

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING?

Q: IF YOU HAD TO SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Seriously people, there is NO WAY I'd sing on American Idol.   I.am.not.a.singer.

 Q: ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL?

Definitely a night owl!   I've always been a late night girl!

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?
 I love my latest resource, Everyone's a Superhero!  It's an "All About Me" type of unit with a PuNcH!  Check it out!

I also still LOVE my RTI number and letter confusion packs because they are so helpful for those kiddos who have number/letter reversals!

Q: WHO INSPIRES YOU?

That one is easy to answer.... These gals do!  I just love my teacher-blogger friends!  They inspire me daily and truly, truly make me a better teacher!

That's enough about me!  Now I want to learn all about you! Be sure and link up with Blog Hoppin' and Stephanie Stewart below.

Can't wait to learn more about YOU!

It's a Back-to-School BOOST!

My kinder-babies entered my classroom over a week ago, and we are off to a GREAT start!

We have successfully made it through the first few days of school, and we are slowly transitioning from procedure-procedure-procedure to procedure-content-procedure! LOL!

{Come on people!  If you’ve ever taught kindergarten, you know you have to keep drilling the “how tos” and procedures consistently until at least mid-October!  If you do it correctly, after that point, life gets A LOT easier for ya' as a kinder-teacher!}

With that being said, I think it’s the PERFECT time for another TPT sale!

I’m filling up my cart with all kinds of instructional goodies!

You should too!

If you are a kinder-teacher, may I suggest checking out a few of my best selling products??

Check out these snappy resources that you can find in my TpT store.  They are on SALE today (August 20th) ONLY!

{There is a number confusions packet in my store too!}

Getcha’ some!

What's in Your Cart??

LOVE.THIS.SALE.

I have been waiting for weeks for this sale to arrive!  I’ve been filling up my “wishlist” for quite some time!
And today’s the day!

I have my shopping strategies all in place.

{TIP: Divide your purchase into 3 smaller purchases so the hubs doesn’t FREAK out! LOL}

Here are a few things that are in my cart…

 Hope King's "Set the Stage to ENGAGE" ebook. Folks, this is the BEST resource you can buy if you are wanting to improve your teaching!  I saw Hope present a session on this in Vegas this summer, and it was INCREDIBLE!

I can't even put into words how wonderful and life changing it is.... but my dear friend, Abby, from the Inspired Apple blog hit the nail on the head!   Check out her review!

"If there’s one resource you purchase this school year, let it be Set the Stage to Engage! Not only is it packed with detailed descriptions of lessons, ideas, and engaging activities, but it is accompanied by pictures to help you visualize them at work in a real classroom! Hope will inspire a renewed sense of creativity and passion within your teacher-heart, and I guarantee she will spark the enthusiasm you need to make this your best year yet. With a focus on kids, creativity, and content, Set the Stage to Engage is perfect for first year teachers and seasoned veterans alike. Add to your cart NOW!"

Another GREAT buy that I HAD to have was Kim Adsit's

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED!   You will look like a ROCK STAR!   Seriously, Kim has brilliantly crafted this packet to have EVERYTHING you will need to have a super awesome and interactive event that will have your parents calling you "teacher of the year" already!   GETCHA' ONE!

And while you are in Kim's store... you gotta' pick up this little gem too!  It's a must have!!!

OOOH!  And don't forget to grab this from Elizabeth Hall's Kickin' It In Kindergarten store!  This packet is AWESOME and really helps to teach lil' kinders wonderful speaking skills!

And this one was an "on sale" must have! CAN NOT WAIT to implement this in my class this year!   #soexcited  #trysomethingnew

KNOCK KNOCK...

Knock. Knock…

Who’s there?  {Couldn’t resist!}

Ok.  Ok…  This post is NOT about knock-knock jokes.

But it IS about Knock Knock.

Do I have you thoroughly confused now?  Let me clarify.

First of all, how many of you out there have “back-to-school brain?”

You know… the condition where you have so much to get done for the beginning of the year that you unconsciously “look” for other things to distract you from getting your list of to-do’s accomplished….just sheerly due to the fact that you don’t know where to start?

UUUMMM… That may or not be me.
{Ok.  So it TOTALLY is!}

Thus, my blog topic for today.

My newest love = KNOCK KNOCK.

***********************************************

WHAT IS KNOCK KNOCK?

Knock Knock is a super fun, witty and creative company that is driven to create products that bring humor, function, organization, and aesthetics to everyday life.  And that is EXACTLY what they do!

I discovered them on one of my trips to Barnes and Noble.  I was walking through the store… and BAM!  There was the trendiest display… with this little number callin’ my name:

I mean, really, who couldn’t use that?!

And it doesn’t stop there.  Check out some of the other products they offer!

And on the more serious/functional side…

They also offer many, many other quirky and clever goodies (at SUPER great prices, in my  opinion!) that would make awesome little gifts!   Check out a few more below…

Hey… Did I do it?  Did I successfully distract you from all of your “back-to-school stress” for a least a minute???

Well, I hope so!   {And you’re welcome! Hee!  Hee!}

Now, let’s make things even better for you.

How about a GIVEAWAY??

The KNOCKKNOCK company LOVES teachers…and they were super excited to send me a box of some of their most popular KNOCKKNOCK goodies and notepads.

So, of course…. I’m giving them away!!!
{Ya see, I already bought myself a ton of them and my desk is getting a little full…so I guess I’ll share!}

So DO IT!

Enter below for your chance to win!

Hurry… this raffle will end in just a few days!
Oh… and head on over to www.knockknockstuff.com to check out all of their super cute things and imagine what you might be opening in your box if you win!!!
